The Bible is God’s Word and is the sole source of authority in a believer’s life, therefore, we teach the Bible - both Old & New Testaments - holding the following statements to be true:
We believe that… 1) The Bible is inspired: God is its ultimate author. 2) The Bible is inerrant: God used human authors to write exactly what He wanted without error. 3) The Bible is infallible: It is incapable of error and will accomplish exactly what God wants.
“All Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be equipped, having been thoroughly equipped for every good work.” - 2 Timothy 3:16-17
Christ-Centered & Christ Following
Jesus Christ is Lord! We lift up His name! We preach, teach, worship, and live our lives all for the glory of Christ!
The Bible teaches that the Son, Jesus… “is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.
For in Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things,
And in Him all things hold together.
And He is the head of the body, the church;
Who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything.
For in Him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell,
And through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross—through Him—whether things on earth or things in heaven.” (Colossians 1:15-20)
And the Bible teaches… “that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners,” (1 Timothy 1:15) Therefore… we believe it is of paramount importance to preach… “Christ crucified.” For “Christ [is] the power of God and the wisdom of God.” (1 Corinthians 1:23-24)
Looking for Where God is at Work & Looking for the Lord’s Return
God is always at work. God is sovereignly at work… around the world… in our community and… in our individual lives bringing about His plans and purposes.
We look to see where God is working and then join Him. We prayerfully watch to see what God is doing around us, so that we can obediently, scripturally, and humbly join Him.
We are committed to doing God’s will His way as He accomplishes His plans and purposes through us. Understanding what God is about to do where we are is more important than telling God what we want to do for Him and asking for His blessing. He is God and we are not, so He has the right to interrupt our lives at any time and in any way to accomplishes His will. We will adjust our desires and plans to come in line with what God wants to do.
Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
Come… Study the Bible with us… and grow in in your faith! Learn to remain steadfast in truth and not be carried away by the false teachings and deceitful philosophies of this world.
“You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, be on your guard lest you, having been carried away by the error of unprincipled men, fall from your own steadfastness, but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” (2 Peter 3:17-18)
